Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced IT Lead to manage and drive our organization's IT operations, infrastructure, support systems, and team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background, leadership capabilities, and a hands-on approach to IT governance, user support, security, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations & Infrastructure:

  • Lead the planning, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, endpoints, storage).
  • Ensure up-time, performance, and security of all IT systems, including cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Oversee system updates, patching, and preventive maintenance.

Team & Vendor Management:

  • Supervise and mentor junior IT staff.
  • Allocate workloads and ensure timely resolution of support tickets.
  • Conduct performance reviews and guide training initiatives for the IT team.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for AMC, hardware procurement, and service contracts.

IT Security & Compliance:

  • Define and enforce IT security policies across the organization.
  • Oversee endpoint protection, firewall rules, and access controls.
  • Ensure backup policies, disaster recovery plans.

Project & Change Management:

  • Lead IT projects such as infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and tool implementations.
  • Prepare IT budgets, monitor expenses, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments for IT planning, support, and training.

Process, Monitoring, and Reporting:

  • Establish IT SOPs, documentation, and escalation workflows.
  • Monitor IT KPIs (up-time, ticket SLAs, usage trends) and report to leadership.
  • Identify areas for automation and process improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 7-10 years of hands-on IT experience with at least 1-2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of Windows/Linux environments, networking, firewalls.
  • Experience with IT asset management, AD, virtualization, backup & DR tools.
  • Proven experience in leading IT projects and managing vendor relationships.

Preferred (Bonus) Skills

  • Knowledge of scripting or automation (Power-Shell, Bash, Python).
  • Exposure to cyber-security tools (SIEM, EDR, firewalls).
  • Experience with compliance audits or industry-standard frameworks.
