Role Overview:
The VFX Compositing QC ensures the final visual effects shots meet the highest standards of quality and technical precision. This role involves reviewing and validating composited shots, checking for seamless integration of visual elements, and ensuring they align with the project's creative and technical requirements. The QC collaborates with VFX artists to address any issues early in the pipeline, ensuring smooth delivery within deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Review composited shots for seamless integration of elements into live-action or CG renders.
- Cross-check project inputs and outputs, ensuring adherence to technical standards and shot continuity.
- Analyse shot complexity, frame range, color space, and input formats for accurate execution.
- Ensure visual consistency by checking motion blur, grain matching, edge blending, and color space.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team leads to maintain quality and provide feedback.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong understanding of compositing techniques (layer comp, 2D/3D tracking, chroma keying).
- Knowledge of VFX industry standards, color spaces, and project requirements.
- Proficient in reviewing 4K/QT outputs and addressing jitter, wobble, and basic corrections.
- Ensure minimal corrections and iterations per shot.
- Maintain accuracy in color space, motion blur, and grain levels.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot issues early in the pipeline.
- Deliver high-quality shots within the expected timeline and technical specifications.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in VFX, Animation, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 Years of professional experience as a Compositing QC.
