Role Overview:
We are hiring VFX Roto Artists at Junior, Mid, and Senior levels with Minimum 1 year of experience. Responsibilities include creating precise mattes and rotoscope shapes to isolate objects or characters, ensuring high detail and seamless integration with live-action footage. The role involves adhering to project specifications, collaborating with other departments, and delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create accurate mattes and rotoscope shapes to isolate objects or characters in live-action footage with high precision.
- Ensure consistency and quality by adhering to project specifications and established guidelines.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate roto elements seamlessly into final shots, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Analyse shots to determine complexity, verify footage size and frame range, and identify issues such as black frames or missing frames.
- Create and adjust roto shapes, including detailed anatomy rotos and fine features, addressing complex intersections and retakes as needed.
- Track movement to ensure seamless integration with motion blur, ensuring shapes are fixed and aligned frame-by-frame with jitter-free, wobble-free tracking.
- Manually add motion blur or use spline techniques, ensuring pixel-wise matching and seamless blending with both hard edges and motion blur.
- Conduct thorough quality control based on task and QC checklists, ensuring all shapes are accurately fixed, naming conventions are followed, and no missing frames or holes are present.
- Deliver completed shots by deadlines, in the required format, resolution, bit depth, and with necessary alpha channels. Provide separate render passes, scripts, and workflows, and update progress on project management tools.

Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in VFX, Animation, or a relevant field.
- 1+ years of experience in rotoscoping.
- A showreel or portfolio demonstrating high-quality roto work.
