Role Overview: At Knack Studios, we believe in the power of storytelling, clarity, and creativity. We are looking for an enthusiastic Video Editor to join our Marketing Team, who can bring stories to life through engaging video content across platforms. This role is perfect for someone who is energetic, organized, and has a natural flair for turning raw footage into compelling videos for YouTube, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
Your responsibilities:
- Edit and deliver high-quality videos for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
- Create short-form and long-form content such as Reels, Shorts, teasers, promotional videos, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, design, and production teams to bring creative ideas to life.
- Ensure clarity, structure, and storytelling flow in every video.
- Edit content keeping in mind platform-specific requirements and audience behavior.
- Stay updated with current social media trends and adapt editing styles accordingly.
- Take feedback positively and iterate quickly to deliver the best possible output.
Skill sets/Experience we require:
- Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory). Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, or any open-source editing software will be an added advantage.
- Editing Skills: Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual flow.
- Creative Mindset: Ability to transform raw footage into engaging and crisp content.
- Positive Attitude: Open to feedback, proactive, and adaptable to evolving content strategies.
- Clarity in Execution: Structured approach to editing, file management, and communication.

Preferred (Good to Have):
- Basic knowledge of color correction and sound editing.
- Interest in filmmaking, post-production, or digital content creation.
- Prior internship or freelance editing experience (not mandatory).
